These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the individual developer operating DonorLog ("we," "us," or "our").

DonorLog is a donor management platform designed to help nonprofits and charitable organizations:

  • Third-Party Services: Square and Clover are third-party service providers, and we are not responsible for their services

  • Handling payment disputes and chargebacks

7. Refund and Chargeback Policies

Donation Refunds

  • Refunds for donations are subject to the policies of the receiving nonprofit organization
  • We do not guarantee refunds for any transactions processed through the Service
  • Chargeback disputes should be directed to your payment processor or financial institution

Service Fees

  • Service fees charged by DonorLog are generally non-refundable
  • Refunds may be provided at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances

8. Limitations of Liability

No Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
  • WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • WARRANTIES OF NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS

Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for:

  • The availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services (Plaid, Square, Clover)
  • Any damages or losses resulting from the use of third-party services
  • Service interruptions or outages of third-party providers
  • Data breaches or security incidents involving third-party services

Processing Delays and Outages

We are not liable for:

  • Delays in payment processing
  • Service outages or technical difficulties
  • Loss of data due to system failures
  • Interruptions in service availability

Limitation of Damages

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • LOSS OF PROFITS
  • LOSS OF DATA
  • BUSINESS INTERRUPTION
  • DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE

Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

DonorLog and its content, including but not limited to:

  • Software, code, and technology
  • User interface design and layout
  • Text, graphics, and images
  • Trademarks and service marks

are owned by us and are protected by intellectual property laws.

License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.

Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use our trademarks or service marks without permission
  • Remove or alter copyright notices

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service, but you grant us a license to use, store, and display such content as necessary to provide the Service.

10. Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion features within the Service.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if:
